About the role
Kraft Heinz is hiring a full-time Bag Prep operator in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The role covers weighing and organizing raw ingredients according to recipes, staging materials, checking inventory and keeping the work area clean and safe.
Key responsibilities
- Weigh raw ingredients according to the recipe
- Organize ingredients by placing them in barrels, drums or other containers
- Perform regular inventory checks on ingredients
- Stage materials according to the recipe and place recipe tags on barrels or carts when finished
- Complete paperwork and IQS entries
- Clean and sanitize the work area and help with other recipes as needed
- Assemble or changeover equipment as assigned
- Verify product quality, item numbers and weights
- Follow all food safety policies, safety procedures and Q-RMP standards
Required profile
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs. above the head
- Able to work well under stress and in extreme hot and cold temperatures
- Ability to work independently and with others, and to communicate effectively
- Willingness to trust and be trusted, respect others and be accountable for one's actions
