Backend Developer III – Onsite Cincinnati

About the role

We are seeking a Backend Developer III to join our onsite team in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves designing and developing software within a multi‑disciplinary Agile Development team and supporting the full software lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop software as part of a multi‑disciplinary Agile Development team.
• Write and maintain code, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
• Interact with internal and external teams to gather, validate, and translate requirements into functional solutions.
• Prepare design specifications, diagrams, data models, prototypes, UI designs, test plans, deployment plans, and documentation.
• Support the full software lifecycle, providing updates, fixes, and stage solutions.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Agile software development experience in a DevOps environment.
• Experience with multiple operating systems including UNIX, Linux, and Windows.
• Experience working with various intelligence disciplines and providing direct support within the intelligence community.
• Familiarity with multi‑threaded, big‑data, distributed cloud architectures such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Cloudera, Hive, Spark and Elastic Search.
