AWS DevOps Lead Engineer

About the role

Infosys is seeking an AWS DevOps Lead Engineer to join its Cloud unit in San Antonio, Texas. The role will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud‑native infrastructure for enterprise clients, leveraging AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop diagnostic tools, monitoring protocols and perform root‑cause analysis to resolve complex incidents while meeting SLA commitments.
• Conduct comprehensive IT infrastructure assessments, identify gaps and risks, and propose tailored enhancements.
• Design and deliver scalable, secure, high‑performance infrastructure solutions on AWS.
• Optimize deployment pipelines, ensure environment readiness, troubleshoot issues and produce deployment documentation.
• Implement robust change‑management processes to minimize risk and ensure smooth integration of system updates.
• Enhance system performance through advanced monitoring, capacity planning and bottleneck mitigation.
• Apply security controls and disaster‑recovery strategies to protect client data and services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in infrastructure consulting or lead engineering roles, preferably at a principal or senior level.
• Strong background in cloud platforms, especially Amazon Web Services.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical solutions to stakeholders.
