Autonomy Verification Engineer

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking an Autonomy Verification Engineer to lead performance evaluation of autonomous driving systems. You will shape validation strategies for L4 trucking modules, ensuring safety and reliability across perception, planning, prediction, and localization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute system validation strategies for one or more autonomy modules.
• Create comprehensive datasets from simulation environments and real‑world drives.
• Collaborate with systems engineering to design validation test plans covering the operational design domain.
• Build statistical and machine‑learning models to assess safety performance.
• Define, measure, and report performance metrics for autonomous features.
• Design and deploy pipelines that generate and evaluate metrics automatically.
• Support the creation of safety cases and release recommendation reports.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in ADAS or autonomous driving.
• MS or BS in Robotics, Aerospace, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with scripting and simulation tools.
• Familiarity with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, ISO 21448, and UL4600.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
