Autonomy Engineer

About the role

Remedy Robotics is seeking an interdisciplinary engineer to lead autonomy and intelligence development for the DARPA MASH program, which aims to enable autonomous robotic control of internal bleeding in critical environments. The role spans robotics, machine learning, simulation, and medical imaging.

Key responsibilities

• Develop end‑to‑end autonomy pipelines, from perception and scene understanding to planning, control, and deployment on real robotic systems.
• Train and evaluate deep learning models on large‑scale medical imaging datasets to recognize anatomy and guide interventions.
• Run large‑scale experiments in cloud environments and iterate quickly based on results.
• Collaborate with machine learning engineers, roboticists, and clinicians to prototype, test, and deploy solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years or Master’s with 2+ years of relevant industry experience (PhD also accepted).
• Strong expertise in Python and image‑based deep neural network development.
• Experience with simulation tools such as MuJoCo or Isaac.
• Ability to develop high‑quality software from design through testing and deployment.
