IT Administrator

About the role

Open Door Legal is building a digital platform for universal civil legal representation. The IT Administrator ensures staff can work smoothly by maintaining hardware, software, and access permissions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the staff IT help desk: triage, resolve, and escalate tickets for hardware and third‑party platforms.
• Provision accounts, licenses, and equipment for new hires, interns, volunteers, and contractors.
• Offboard departing personnel, disabling accounts, reclaiming licenses, transferring data, and wiping devices.
• Manage the hardware lifecycle: procure, image, deploy, track, repair, and securely retire equipment while maintaining an accurate inventory.
• Enforce security hygiene, MFA, password‑manager use, and device encryption; maintain runbooks and a self‑serve knowledge base.

Required profile

• 1+ years in IT support, help‑desk, or systems administration.
• Hands‑on experience with account and permission administration in a major platform (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Okta, etc.).
• Comfort troubleshooting Mac and Windows hardware, mobile devices, printers, and video‑conferencing equipment.
• Strong written communication and a service‑oriented mindset.
• Detail‑oriented, process‑driven, and able to work independently within limited scheduled hours.

• Hourly pay $36.78‑$44.47 based on experience.
