Automation Equipment Apprentice – Night Shift (12‑hr)

About the role

We are looking for an Automation Equipment Apprentice to join our night‑shift team on a 12‑hour schedule. You will support injection‑molding and downstream automated equipment in a medical‑device manufacturing environment, gaining hands‑on experience under the guidance of senior technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with set‑up, build and repair of injection‑molding and automated equipment (non‑electrical).
• Respond to maintenance requests, diagnose issues and perform guided repairs.
• Carry out preventive‑maintenance tasks and replace components as directed.
• Document work performed and follow standard operating procedures.
• Support facility tasks such as seasonal snow management.
• Participate in training sessions and learn equipment process flows.

Required profile

• Strong desire to learn and develop technical skills.
• Flexibility to attend classes outside regular work hours.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical or electronic concepts (training desired but not required).
• Good verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to work overtime and follow regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
