Autofroth Parts and Equipment Technician

About the role
We are seeking an Autofroth Parts and Equipment Technician to join our Performance Materials team in Central, SC. You will support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and preparation of specialized polyurethane dispensing equipment and foam system assemblies.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair Autofroth dispensing equipment and foam system assemblies.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Perform electrical wiring, soldering, control panel assembly, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Support mechanical assembly activities including pumps, hoses, pneumatic systems, and fluid handling components.
- Conduct equipment testing, inspections, and quality verification to meet safety standards.
- Provide technical support to customers, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain organized inventory, staging, documentation, and shipping preparation.
- Operate forklifts and assist with equipment movement and material handling.
- Ensure a safe work environment following EH&S and ISO requirements.
- Collaborate with the Parts and Equipment Manager and Autofroth team.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED; technical school or higher education preferred.
- Mechanical and electrical experience in equipment assembly, troubleshooting, or industrial environments preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience with soldering equipment, hand tools, power tools, and multimeters.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.
- Commitment to safe equipment handling, PPE compliance, and EH&S standards.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb.
