Auditor (Financial & Fraud Investigation)

About the role

CGS is looking for a skilled Auditor to support fraud investigations involving complex financial transactions and organizations. You will develop audit guidelines, work with a variety of accounting systems, and communicate across functional teams to uncover hidden financial activity.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and audit multiple accounting systems and large volumes of financial data such as bank records, tax filings, and healthcare claims.
• Assist in planning investigations by performing quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify witnesses and relevant documents.
• Prepare concise reports, charts, and schedules that summarize findings for investigators and legal teams.
• Coordinate and draft technical audit guidelines and instructions for use in financial audits.
• Manage secure storage, preservation, and indexing of voluminous documentary evidence.
• Support conferences and interviews with financial institution representatives, CPAs, and other potential witnesses.

Required profile

• Four‑year degree in finance, accounting, fraud examination, statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or fraud examination.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to organize and present large data sets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
