About the role
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join a leading CPA firm in Westbury, Long Island. This position offers the chance to move from traditional audit engagements into Client Accounting Services, allowing you to work closely with business owners and influence strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with assigned client portfolios.
- Oversee outsourced accounting functions, including month‑end close and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reporting packages.
- Provide advisory support and insights to help clients improve financial performance.
- Leverage audit expertise to ensure accuracy and compliance across all deliverables.
Required profile
- CPA‑qualified professional with solid audit experience.
- Motivation to transition from audit to broader accounting and advisory work.
- Strong client‑facing orientation and desire to add value to business decisions.
- Ability to work across multiple industries and adapt to varied client needs.
