Audio-Visual Technical Coordinator

About the role

The Computing Directorate at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is seeking an Audio‑Visual Technical Support Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and produce live‑streamed and video events while maintaining complex AV equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Run event AV production workstreams, including live streaming via Webex, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Stream.
• Set up, test, and diagnose projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and displays for on‑site and off‑site meetings.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for pre‑event dry runs, event‑day support, and equipment health checks.
• Coordinate with AV equipment OEMs for resolutions and work‑arounds.
• Assist with company meetings requiring AV infrastructure, including control systems (AMX, Cisco).

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DOE Q‑level security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field or equivalent experience.
• Highly advanced experience troubleshooting AV systems and producing video/audio recordings.
• Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work irregular hours.
