Attorney (Anchorage, AK)

About the role

We are an established law firm in Anchorage seeking a dedicated Attorney to provide clear, compassionate, and professional legal services to our clients. This full‑time position offers the chance to work within a collaborative, growth‑oriented team handling a variety of matters.

Key responsibilities

• Represent clients from intake through resolution, including counseling, strategy, drafting, negotiation, and court or agency appearances.
• Manage case deadlines, filings, discovery, petitions, and ensure compliance with court or agency requirements.
• Collaborate with support staff to keep client files organized and accurate.
• Participate in case planning and cross‑training across practice areas.
• Maintain proper billing practices and respond to client billing inquiries.
• Coordinate onboarding of any existing book of business, if applicable.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) and an active U.S. bar license (Alaska preferred or ability to become barred within 6 months).
• Strong legal drafting, organizational, and follow‑through abilities.
• High ethical standards, sound judgment, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Compliance with applicable Rules of Professional Conduct.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Experience using practice management software.
