A&T Technician II – 2nd Shift (Onsite, Buffalo, NY)

About the role

Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is seeking an A&T Technician II for a second‑shift, onsite position in East Aurora, New York. You will report to the Performance Leader and work on assembly, soldering, and testing of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro‑mechanical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro‑mechanical valves, actuators, and systems using various measuring instruments and tools.
• Execute high‑reliability soldering and crimping of wires on complex sub‑assemblies and mechanical assemblies.
• Interpret drawings, worksheets, parts lists, and other documentation to guide work.
• Conduct diagnostic rework on units that fail test requirements.
• Repair production units and work on hydraulic stands for assembly functions.
• Perform testing according to defined procedures.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English and perform basic arithmetic.
• Minimum of 3 years of related technical experience.
• Enrollment and participation in the FAA Drug & Alcohol Program as required for safety‑sensitive work.

Required skills

• Assembly of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro‑mechanical components.
• High‑reliability soldering and wire crimping.
• Use of electrical and mechanical measuring instruments.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, worksheets, and parts lists.
• Diagnostic rework and testing of assemblies.
