A&T Technician II – 2nd Shift (Onsite, Buffalo, NY)

About the role

Moog is seeking an A&T Technician II to join its Military Aircraft Group on the 2nd shift. This onsite position in Buffalo, NY involves assembling and testing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro‑mechanical components for high‑reliability aerospace applications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro‑mechanical valves, actuators, and systems using a variety of measuring instruments, assembly tools, and cleaning devices.
• Execute high‑reliability soldering and crimping of wires on complex sub‑assemblies and electronic/mechanical assemblies.
• Interpret drawings, worksheets, and parts lists to build and repair units.
• Conduct diagnostic rework on units that fail test requirements and perform functional testing according to defined procedures.
• Work on hydraulic stands to complete assembly tasks and support production‑run repairs.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED (preferred) with the ability to follow verbal, written, and computer instructions in English.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical assembly or manufacturing environment.
• Eligibility to enroll in the company’s FAA Drug & Alcohol Program as required by federal safety‑sensitive regulations.
