Associate Territory Representative - Baton Rouge

About the role

In partnership with its Medtech client, IQVIA is recruiting Associate Territory Representatives in the Baton Rouge area (Lafayette / South Louisiana). This is an entry-level medical device sales role for a B2B sales professional who wants to build a career in healthcare. It is a pure hunter role: you start with no book of business and build one through disciplined prospecting, high call volume and strong clinical messaging.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, target and call on outpatient urology and urogynecology clinics across your assigned geography
• Educate physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and clinic staff on the clinical and patient benefits of products
• Drive new prescription volume by converting prescribers and expanding usage in existing accounts
• Build and manage a territory pipeline, keeping activity and opportunity data accurate in the CRM
• Run in-clinic education, product demonstrations and follow-up with clinical staff
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales activity and revenue targets
• Plan routes, prioritize targets and manage your expense budget

Required profile

• No medical or clinical experience needed; a track record of winning in a professional, metrics-driven sales environment is required
• 2-4 years of B2B sales experience with a demonstrated record of quota achievement
• Bachelor's degree
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel daily within the territory
• Comfortable with cold outreach, gatekeepers and long sales cycles
• Coachable, competitive and accountable, with strong verbal communication and the presence to earn credibility with physicians
