Associate Technician, Operations (Machine Operator)

About the role

The Level O1 Machine Operator is the foundation of our Livestock Identification tag production line. You will operate laser/EID marking stations, label and package tags while adhering to SOPs and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Operate laser, laser/ink‑jet, or EID marking stations to mark tags, then label and package finished products.
• Maintain daily output targets, verify materials and work orders, and report any deviations immediately.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, setup verification, and cleaning within trained scope.
• Conduct quality checks, stop production for non‑conforming items, and maintain traceability records.
• Complete real‑time production documentation, including startup sheets, downtime logs, and scrap reports.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using a computer, entering production data, and learning basic software such as SAP, MES or Galaxy.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 30 lb, stand for long periods, and follow safety PPE requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to follow SOPs and work instructions.
