Associate Supervisor – Construction Operations

About the role

KONE is seeking an Associate Supervisor to lead local installation operations for its New York City site, supporting the NYU account. You will guide a team on construction sites, ensure safety compliance, and collaborate with general contractors and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑site teams, coordinating multiple subcontractors and managing resources to meet project schedules.
• Implement and monitor safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with code requirements and building system standards.
• Track team performance, schedule progress, and report outcomes to senior management.
• Collaborate with all organizational levels to achieve business goals and adopt new technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of relevant construction experience, preferably supervising a union‑represented workforce.
• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, safety protocols, and team development.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
