Associate – Strategy & Operations

About the role

The Associate – Strategy & Operations will work directly with senior leaders of Greystar’s Americas platform, acting as a chief‑of‑staff for the Head of Americas and the Head of US Investments. This role supports high‑priority strategic initiatives, the creation of a new FP&A function, and the annual business planning process.

Key responsibilities

• Manage priorities, prepare briefing materials, and ensure follow‑through on commitments for the Head of Americas and Head of US Investments.
• Help establish foundational processes, reporting frameworks, and team infrastructure for the new FP&A function.
• Lead Greystar’s participation in the annual Business Planning process, coordinating inputs, managing timelines, and delivering consolidated reports for senior leadership.
• Partner with Greystar’s technology organization to drive adoption of new tools, systems, and ways of working across the investment platform.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in real estate, investment management, consulting, or corporate finance.
• Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous problem spaces and quickly build executive‑grade fact bases.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional execution skills at senior leadership levels.
• An MBA or similar graduate degree is a plus.
