Associate Project Manager – Natural Resources

About the role

SWCA Environmental Consultants is looking for a dynamic Associate Project Manager to support natural resources, cultural resources, and permitting projects. This remote, full‑time position will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver services across energy, infrastructure, and land‑development sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with schedules, budgets, task tracking, and client deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams providing natural resources, cultural resources, and permitting services.
• Lead specific project components, conducting or supporting field assessments, wetland delineations, and cultural resource surveys.
• Prepare permit applications, technical reports, and agency coordination documents.
• Support QA/QC reviews of field data, reports, and permit submissions.
• Engage with regulatory agencies, clients, contractors, and field crews to ensure safe, on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Contribute to business development through proposal preparation and client relationship building.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an environmental‑related discipline.
• At least three years of relevant experience, including one year of project management responsibilities.
• Experience with Georgia permitting processes.
• Proven ability to manage project tasks and coordinate field efforts.
