Associate Professor of Clinical Neurology (Pediatrics)

About the role

The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine seeks a full‑time Associate Professor of Clinical Neurology for its Pediatric Neurology Division. The incumbent will deliver inpatient and outpatient neurological care for children and contribute to teaching and research activities.

Key responsibilities

• Treat and prevent neurological diseases in children, including developmental delay, epilepsy, migraine, movement and neuromuscular disorders.
• Provide clinical care at Jackson Memorial Hospital and affiliated outpatient clinics.
• Participate actively in the Neurology Residency Training Program and pediatric residency teaching.
• Train house staff, present at teaching conferences, and mentor junior faculty.
• Engage in departmental research initiatives.

Required profile

• MD degree from an accredited university (or foreign equivalent).
• Eligibility for a valid Florida medical license.
• Board certification in Neurology.
• Extensive clinical experience in pediatric neurology, typically several years post‑fellowship.
• Ability to manage and mentor junior faculty.
