Associate Professor of Clinical – Interventional Radiology

About the role

The University of Miami Department of Interventional Radiology seeks an Associate Professor of Clinical to join one of the nation’s largest IR departments. The faculty member will deliver minimally invasive, image‑guided diagnosis and treatment, support research initiatives, and train residents and fellows across multiple campus locations.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret interventional radiology imaging studies and perform a full spectrum of IR procedures.
• Develop and implement innovative interventional techniques.
• Evaluate patients pre‑ and post‑procedure and expand outpatient IR clinics.
• Supervise technical personnel and ensure quality assurance in imaging practice.
• Provide emergency IR care and participate in the on‑call schedule.
• Assume administrative duties as assigned by the Chairman.
• Teach and mentor residents, fellows, medical students, and radiology technologists.
• Serve on departmental, university, and hospital committees.

Required profile

• MD or DO with board certification/eligibility in Interventional Radiology.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical IR, research, and academic teaching.
• Ability to work across multiple UM/JMH locations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to high‑quality patient care and scholarly activity.
