About the role

The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine seeks an Associate Professor in Clinical Medicine, Cardiology (Non‑invasive) to strengthen its adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) program. This full‑time faculty position combines patient care, research, and education in a cutting‑edge, patient‑centered environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialized outpatient and inpatient care for adults with congenital heart disease.
• Perform and interpret advanced cardiac imaging studies, including echocardiography, MRI, and CT.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with surgery, interventional cardiology, maternal‑fetal medicine, and genetics.
• Manage transition of patients from pediatric to adult congenital services.
• Develop and oversee dedicated ACHD clinics and outreach programs.
• Supervise ACHD‑related procedures when applicable.
• Engage in clinical research, publish findings, and contribute to academic initiatives.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows within the cardiovascular department.

Required profile

• MD or DO degree, board‑certified or board‑eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Adult Congenital Heart Disease.
• Fellowship training in Cardiology and ACHD.
• Extensive experience in outpatient and inpatient care of adults with congenital heart disease.
• Strong academic and research background with a commitment to advancing clinical practice.
