Associate of Science in Nursing Clinical Adjunct Instructor

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Clinical Adjunct Instructor for the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. The instructor will deliver hands‑on clinical and laboratory education to nursing students, preparing them for professional practice.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction in medical/surgical, obstetrical, and mental health nursing across campus and external clinical sites.
• Develop and coordinate lab and clinical experiences based on site availability.
• Collaborate with the Program Director and faculty to create instructional content and align it with program goals.
• Assess student performance, evaluate progress toward learning outcomes, and provide feedback.
• Support accreditation activities and ensure compliance with program standards.
• Supervise students during variable hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Required profile

• Current RN licensure and appropriate nursing certifications.
• Relevant clinical experience in the specialties listed.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel to clinical sites.
