Associate Manager, Strategic Product Finance

About the role

Taco Bell is looking for an Associate Manager to join its Marketing Analysis team in Finance in Irvine, CA. The role partners with Marketing, Digital, Food Innovation, Operations and Supply Chain to evaluate business performance and support data-driven decisions, helping launch new products and drive profitable sales growth. It is described as a dynamic point of entry, with successful members able to move to other finance roles or across Yum! Brands.

Key responsibilities

• Own finance for layers of the product marketing calendar (e.g. innovation, value)
• Partner cross-functionally to bring the finance perspective to real-time challenges and develop holistic recommendations
• Lead ad hoc analysis to diagnose performance and present recommendations for pivots
• Determine product sales mix and profit impact of marketing campaigns
• Conduct breakeven analysis and pro forma development
• Advise stakeholders on the financial impact of product promotion decisions
• Forecast cost of sales and supply chain projections
• Analyze product test markets and national marketing promotions
• Present financial and strategic recommendations to partners at the Manager through Director level

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; analytical degree preferred (Economics, Mathematics, Engineering); MBA a plus
• 6+ years of relevant experience (corporate finance, analytics, consulting, investment banking, etc.)
• Ability to communicate and present at the executive level to Taco Bell and franchise stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills, multitasking and meeting deadlines
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; no visa sponsorship provided

• Salary of $109,400 to $128,600 per year plus bonus eligibility
