Associate I – Quality Operations

About the role

Alcon is seeking an Associate I in Quality Operations to support product quality, resolve non‑conformances, and maintain documentation across its manufacturing sites. The role applies specialized knowledge of quality management practices and conducts independent research to ensure compliance with global and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with other facilities to support product technology transfer.
• Collect data and support product validations, equipment qualifications, and manufacturing process validations.
• Maintain product and process controls for critical quality attributes.
• Investigate non‑conformance events and drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Address supplier‑related quality issues, applying root‑cause analysis and corrective action processes.
• Track and trend NC and CAPA data using statistical and non‑statistical tools.
• Lead product holds, quarantine actions, and support on‑floor production activities.
• Administer validation protocols, schedule runs, and produce technical summaries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (high school + 8 years or associate + 4 years).
• Ability to read, write, and understand technical documentation in English.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
