Associate – Exempt Tax (National Tax Exempt Team)

About the role

Join CLA’s National Tax Exempt (NExT) team as an Associate, providing customized tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base. You will work closely with senior staff to deliver high‑quality tax solutions while developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to deliver tailored tax compliance and advisory services.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day tax workstreams with Seniors, Managers, and Directors to ensure timely project progress.
• Research and analyze complex tax issues as needed.
• Learn new tax concepts, software, and assist in creating standardized templates and tools.
• Leverage technology and automation to improve efficiency, accuracy, and client experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam preferred.
