Associate Director, Stewardship

About the role

The Associate Director, Stewardship will lead stewardship initiatives at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, supporting donor relations and advancing the university’s mission through education, research, and outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement stewardship strategies for donors and alumni.
• Oversee project management activities related to stewardship programs.
• Collaborate with university departments to align stewardship efforts with research and outreach goals.
• Ensure compliance with university policies and reporting requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of stewardship staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Significant experience in stewardship, fundraising, or related project management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex initiatives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the university’s mission and values.
