Associate Design Manager – Learning & Development

About the role

Starbucks is looking for an Associate Design Manager to create print and digital media assets that support learning and development programs for partners across its coffeehouses. You will blend modern visual design with a strong brand focus to deliver engaging training experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling creative concepts and solutions that adhere to Starbucks brand standards for a variety of learning products.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to workshop, refine, and execute agreed‑upon design concepts.
• Maintain the highest level of design execution and attention to detail across print and digital deliverables.
• Communicate design rationale and details verbally and in writing to stakeholders.
• Interpret and integrate feedback, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong application of design principles including color theory, composition, layout, and typography.
• Portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects across digital, social, media, packaging, and print.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and collaborative skills.
• Effective time‑management, ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Visual Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a creative agency, in‑house team, or equivalent environment.
