Associate Clinical Editor (Remote)

About the role

The Associate Clinical Editor will join relx’s Patient Engagement team to ensure nursing‑focused content remains accurate, evidence‑based, and aligned with current clinical guidelines. Working fully remotely, you will collaborate with Clinical Editors and internal stakeholders to update and create educational materials for healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Review, update, and revise assigned content on scheduled and triggered cycles, incorporating guideline changes and customer requests.
• Maintain high‑quality, evidence‑based content that follows current clinical practice standards.
• Manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met while preserving content quality.
• Respond to basic clinical inquiries from Customer Success and Service teams under editorial guidance.
• Participate in team meetings and stay informed about updates from professional nursing organizations.
• Support the JIRA ticketing process and other workflow tools as needed.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with an active, unencumbered license.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum three years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Experience authoring or editing healthcare content and developing educational materials.
• Familiarity with adult‑learning principles, health literacy, and plain‑language guidelines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using JIRA for task tracking.
• Willingness to leverage generative AI tools to improve efficiency.

• Fully remote, full‑time position with flexible daytime hours (approximately 9 am‑5 pm ET).
• Competitive base salary ranging from $71,600 to $119,400 per year, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.
