Associate Attorney – Consumer Protection (Remote, Miami)

About the role

We are a consumer‑protection law firm based in New York City seeking a full‑time Associate Attorney to support our growing practice in Florida. The role is remote, but candidates must reside in or near Miami to handle client matters and occasional court appearances.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and supervise a diversified caseload of consumer‑protection clients in Florida.
• Communicate with clients regarding their matters and provide updates.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and review or draft agreements.
• Negotiate and communicate with opposing parties to resolve or settle claims.
• Conduct legal research on contract law and other consumer‑law issues.
• Travel as needed for in‑court appearances.

Required profile

• Active admission to practice law in Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities to meet strict deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency with LexisNexis for legal research (preferred).
