Associate Asset Management Analyst (MBA)

About the role

Greystar is seeking an Associate in Asset Management to support the financial and operational performance of its multifamily development portfolio. This entry‑level position is ideal for a 2026 Spring MBA graduate with experience in real estate, banking, private equity, or engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis of multifamily development assets, creating detailed pro‑forma and Excel‑based financial models.
• Gather, compile, and analyze market data to identify trends and produce narrative memoranda, reports, and market summaries.
• Collaborate on investment committee memoranda, financing or disposition recommendations, and updates on existing development assets.
• Maintain relationships with local brokers, institutional and equity partners, lenders, and regional property management teams.
• Develop documentation and recommendations on findings that may affect asset returns and financial performance.
• Organize and lead disposition processes, including broker coordination and due‑diligence activities.
• Perform valuation analysis and monitor the status of sales transactions and new product deliveries within the assigned region.
• Establish timelines, identify potential issues, and work with internal teams to ensure successful transaction closings.

Required profile

• 2026 Spring MBA graduate.
• Prior experience in real estate, banking, private equity, or engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize operational results and market data.
