Assistant/Associate/Full Professor – Pharmacy Practice (Acute Care)

About the role

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore seeks a full‑time, twelve‑month, non‑tenure‑track faculty member to join the School of Pharmacy. The position focuses on pharmacy practice in acute care, combining classroom instruction, experiential training, and direct patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver didactic and experiential education in acute‑care pharmacy practice.
• Participate in direct patient care activities at the practice site in Salisbury.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with other health‑care professionals.
• Design, revise, and assess courses to meet accreditation standards.
• Engage in scholarly activity and contribute to research initiatives.
• Serve on school and university committees.
• Participate in regional and national professional organizations.

Required profile

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.).
• Completion of a PGY‑1 residency or a minimum of three years of comparable professional experience.
• Commitment to teaching excellence, patient‑centered care, and scholarly productivity.
