Assistant/Associate Professor – Pharmacy Practice Labs Coordinator

About the role

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore seeks a full‑time, twelve‑month, non‑tenure‑track faculty member to lead and coordinate pharmacy practice teaching laboratories and skills activities for its PharmD program. This position supports the school’s integrated curriculum and ensures high‑quality, patient‑centered training for future pharmacists.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, map, and assess laboratory and skills activities within the newly designed curriculum.
• Coordinate all practice laboratory sessions, including objective structured clinical examinations (OSCEs).
• Orient faculty, health professionals, and students to lab procedures and equipment.
• Train faculty, adjuncts, residents, fellows, and students to deliver laboratory activities.
• Prepare labs for skills‑based sessions and manage inventory and supply ordering.
• Collaborate with faculty on scheduling and integration of skills‑based activities.

Required profile

• Full‑time, twelve‑month, non‑tenure‑track faculty appointment.
• Experience coordinating pharmacy practice laboratory or skills training.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and health professionals.
