Assistant Store Manager – Retail Leadership

About the role

Coach is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales performance, and developing a high‑performing team in a luxury retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets through forecasting, planning, and implementing category initiatives.
• Create an inclusive, high‑energy floor environment that meets Coach service standards and resolves customer issues promptly.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and retain team members while fostering a collaborative culture aligned with the brand vision.
• Assist with omni‑channel and digital engagement, including virtual shopping, clienteling, and leveraging social media trends.
• Oversee operational excellence: compliance, scheduling, payroll, HR processes, loss prevention, visual merchandising, store safety, and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with district and corporate teams to interpret market trends, shape store strategy, and drive cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in retail or service; luxury/fashion background preferred.
• Strong customer focus and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven ability to inspire and motivate teams to exceed performance standards.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.
