Assistant Store Manager - Luxury Fashion

About the role

TOTEME, a fashion house founded in 2014 by Elin Kling and Karl Lindman, is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join its store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. The role is full-time and reports directly to the Store Manager, supporting the team, driving sales and delivering an elevated client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage store operations, ensure efficient workflows and handle staff scheduling.
• Drive sales performance and monitor progress to meet or exceed targets.
• Coach Sales Advisors daily and guide the team on brand knowledge, collections, store experience and operational procedures.
• Support in-store events and activations with the Store Manager, and lead by example in client relationships and clienteling.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are met and coach the team on day-to-day execution.
• Hold regular team briefings on business priorities, company policies and new collections.
• Share product insights and qualitative feedback with internal teams based on client needs and local trends.
• Contribute to the brand's social and environmental sustainability strategy.

Required profile

• At least three years of experience in a senior retail role, preferably in luxury fashion.
• Experience leading and coaching a high-performing team.
• Solid understanding of store workflows, budgeting and performance analysis.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Available for a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

What we offer

• Annual salary of $80,000-$90,000 before tax, depending on profile, skills and experience.
