About the role

As an Assistant Store Leader – People & Culture, you will partner with the Store Leader to build a high‑performing, inclusive team while ensuring the store runs smoothly. You will lead all people‑related functions, from recruiting and onboarding to development, performance management, and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and inspire team members to deliver exceptional, customer‑obsessed service.
• Own full‑cycle talent acquisition for the store, building a diverse pipeline and managing candidate experience.
• Anticipate staffing needs, maintain a bench of potential hires, and execute proactive hiring strategies.
• Plan labor and scheduling to meet business demand while upholding the brand’s service promise.
• Lead onboarding, training, and continuous learning initiatives to support career growth.
• Manage performance reviews, feedback, and coaching to drive team accountability.
• Handle employee relations with confidentiality, clear communication, and consistent follow‑through.
• Identify and develop future leaders, supporting succession and engagement plans.
