Assistant Site Manager

About the role

You will support the Site Manager in running a 5‑15k sq ft DashMart fulfillment center, ensuring fast, reliable, and high‑quality order delivery. The role blends team leadership, operational oversight, and data‑driven decision‑making in a fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of hourly Operations Associates and Shift Leads, hiring, coaching and developing staff while fostering a safety‑first culture.
• Oversee day‑to‑day warehouse operations, including inventory management, scheduling and workflow optimization.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional partners to resolve on‑site escalations and support new initiatives or growth projects.
• Analyze operational data, make strategic recommendations on resource allocation, workflow and warehouse organization, and lead process‑improvement projects.
• Ensure high‑quality customer experience by meeting order‑accuracy and fulfillment‑speed metrics and collaborating with central inventory and training teams.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing teams of five or more employees with a track record of performance and development.
• Strong ownership mindset, comfortable handling both large and small problems in a fast‑growing environment.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to thrive in a startup‑like, rapidly changing setting.
• Data‑driven decision‑making style, using metrics to guide actions.

Required skills

• Excel (or equivalent spreadsheet tool) for data analysis and reporting.
