Assistant Retail Manager – Salon Operations

About the role

The Assistant Salon Director supports the Salon Director in delivering a high‑energy, client‑centric environment at Sun Tan City. You will help drive store performance, supervise tanning consultants, and ensure operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast‑paced setting.
• Lead by example, meet personal sales expectations, and create a client‑centric experience.
• Maintain a clean, professional salon environment and oversee inventory.
• Generate sales reports, assist with revenue and expense control, and help staff scheduling.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to team members.

Required profile

• Ability to work nights, Saturdays and Sundays as needed.
• Reliable transportation for bank trips.
• Availability for a 40‑45 hour work week.
• College education preferred but not required.
• Management or sales experience preferred but not required.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team‑building abilities.
• Problem‑solving, organizational and planning skills.
