Assistant Project Manager – Industrial

About the role

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of new industrial development projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning and coordinating all construction‑related activities.
• Review project specifications, blueprints, and building plans.
• Supervise construction site personnel and contractors, and inspect completed work.
• Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and process change orders.
• Participate in project planning meetings and provide input on scope, schedule, and specifications.
• Review bids and proposals, negotiate contracts, and procure materials and services.
• Conduct routine quality‑control inspections and ensure compliance with safety and code requirements.
• Communicate project status, issues, and actions to equity partners, executives, and other key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and construction documents.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on safety and quality compliance.
