Assistant Program Director of Enrollment Management

About the role

The Assistant Program Director of Enrollment Management provides operational leadership for student registration, academic scheduling, records management, graduation audits, and enrollment reporting at Texas A&M University School of Engineering Medicine (EnMed). Reporting to the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management, the role ensures integrity, efficiency, and compliance of enrollment operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all student registration processes, term activation, add/drop, grading compliance and enrollment status reporting.
• Coordinate academic scheduling with faculty and partner colleges, maintaining accurate class schedules.
• Oversee student academic records, ensuring FERPA compliance, confidentiality, and accurate degree tracking.
• Utilize and support student information systems (e.g., Banner, Elantra), conduct audits, and provide data for accreditation and reporting.
• Supervise and train support staff, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 6 years of progressive experience in enrollment management, registrar operations, or student records administration, including staff supervision.
• Experience with professional, graduate, or health‑related academic programs is preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of registration processes, academic scheduling, and records management in higher education.
• Familiarity with FERPA compliance standards.
• Experience using Banner student information system; exposure to Elantra is a plus.
