About the role
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock seeks a tenure‑track, 9‑month Assistant Professor to join its RN program. This full‑time faculty position involves teaching, mentoring, and scholarly activities within a metropolitan research university.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate nursing courses and evaluate student performance.
- Advise, mentor, and support nursing students academically and professionally.
- Participate in service activities for the university, local community, and the nursing profession.
- Develop and maintain an active program of scholarly research and publication.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Recent clinical experience and teaching experience in an accredited nursing program.
- Current, unencumbered RN licensure in Arkansas or a multi‑compact state.
- Preferred: Doctoral degree in Nursing or related field, or enrollment in a doctoral program.
