About the role
The University of Miami seeks an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics to join its Neonatal Services. This full‑time faculty position combines patient care, teaching, and research in a vibrant academic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 neonatal attending coverage at Jackson South and Jackson North Hospitals.
- Offer antenatal consultations for high‑risk pregnancies and stabilize newborns in delivery rooms.
- Conduct daily rounds in neonatal special‑care units.
- Perform administrative duties within the division and Newborn Service.
- Participate actively in teaching pediatric residents, neonatal fellows, and medical students.
- Develop and lead original clinical or translational research, seeking extramural funding.
Required profile
- Active Florida medical license.
- Board certification in Pediatrics.
- Neonatal board eligibility or substantial neonatal experience (preferred).
