About the role
The University of Miami seeks an Assistant Professor on the clinical educator track to provide high‑quality outpatient and inpatient care for patients with endocrine disorders, while also contributing to the education of fellows, residents, and medical students.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as attending physician for ambulatory services (approximately 80% effort).
- Provide inpatient care, including evening, weekend, and holiday call (approximately 10% effort).
- Teach endocrinology fellows, residents, and medical students (approximately 10% effort).
Required profile
- MD degree with completed ACGME Internal Medicine internship and residency.
- Three‑year ACGME‑accredited Endocrinology fellowship.
- Board certification (or eligibility) in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
- Unrestricted Florida medical license (or eligibility prior to credentialing).
- Valid DEA license, ACLS and BLS certifications.
