Assistant Professor of Clinical – Interventional Radiology

About the role

The University of Miami seeks an Assistant Professor of Clinical Interventional Radiology to provide minimally invasive, image‑guided diagnosis and treatment for a diverse patient population. The position combines clinical care, research, and education of residents and fellows across several UHealth and Jackson Memorial locations.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret interventional radiology imaging studies and perform a wide range of image‑guided procedures.
• Provide patient evaluation pre‑ and post‑procedure and expand outpatient interventional clinics.
• Supervise technical personnel and ensure quality assurance in interventional imaging.
• Participate in on‑call schedules and deliver emergency interventional care as needed.
• Teach and mentor residents, fellows, medical students, and radiology technologists.
• Engage in departmental, university, and hospital committees.
• Conduct research as an investigator and mentor junior researchers.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Interventional Radiology.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, research, and education.
• Ability to work across multiple clinical sites in Miami‑Dade and Broward counties.
• Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.
