Assistant Professor of Clinical Diagnostic Radiology & Nuclear Medicine

About the role

The Division of Nuclear Medicine at the University of Miami seeks a fellowship‑trained faculty member for a full‑time clinical educator position. The role involves active clinical practice, teaching, and participation in research across multiple UHealth sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient nuclear medicine services, including on‑call duties.
• Teach diagnostic radiology residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Supervise technical staff and ensure quality assurance in nuclear medicine practice.
• Participate in clinical research, journal clubs, and multidisciplinary conferences.
• Serve on departmental and university committees as assigned.

Required profile

• Medical degree with Diagnostic Radiology residency and Nuclear Medicine fellowship.
• Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and Nuclear Medicine (ABNM).
• Florida medical license or eligibility.
• At least one year of dedicated nuclear medicine subspecialty fellowship training.
