Assistant Professor of Clinical Dermatology

About the role

The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine seeks an Assistant Professor to join its Department of Dermatology & Cutaneous Surgery. This full‑time faculty member will provide 100% clinical care to dermatology patients at the Coral Gables campus and contribute to the department’s educational and scholarly missions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver medical dermatology services to out‑patient and in‑patient populations.
• Participate in inpatient coverage and telehealth services, including support for cruise line patients.
• Engage in departmental meetings, educational conferences, and scholarly activities.
• Assist with administrative functions related to the department.

Required profile

• Florida‑licensed M.D. with board‑certified or board‑eligible status in Dermatology.
• Ability to generate sufficient clinical revenue to cover professional expenses.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary clinical and research teams.
• Strong teaching experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to work efficiently and independently within a collaborative environment.
