Assistant Professor (CW) – Remote Radiology

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences seeks a qualified Assistant Professor on a Contractual Work (CW) basis to support its radiology department. This position enables radiologists to read diagnostic images remotely, contributing to patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary academic team.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and report radiologic studies from various modalities in a timely manner.
• Provide expert consultation to clinical teams regarding imaging findings.
• Participate in educational activities, including teaching residents and fellows.
• Maintain compliance with institutional policies, including vaccination requirements.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to quality standards.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree.
• Completion of an accredited residency program; fellowship preferred.
• Current Arkansas medical license in good standing.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
