About the role
The University of Miami is hiring an Assistant Professor in Clinical Pediatrics to provide and supervise clinical psychological and neuropsychological assessment services for children across multiple programs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide and supervise psychological and neuropsychological assessments for children through the Psychological Assessment Service (PAS) and the Interdisciplinary Developmental Evaluation Service (IDES).
- Support additional pediatric programs, including the Pediatric Concussion Program.
- Collaborate with the Behavioral Health Program and the Department of Psychiatry on training and service activities for primary‑care pediatric practices.
- Engage in clinical research, including project design, data collection, grant writing, and manuscript preparation.
- Supervise psychology trainees (postdoctoral associates, interns, practicum students), deliver lectures on assessment, and contribute to faculty meetings on training program development.
Required profile
- APA‑approved PhD or PsyD in clinical (or counseling) psychology with a clinical internship.
- Post‑doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology.
- Florida licensure (or license‑eligible) and board certification (or eligibility) in neuropsychology.
- Significant clinical experience working with children and adolescents.
