Assistant Professor – Clinical Diagnostic Radiology (Cardiothoracic)

About the role

The Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging at the University of Miami seeks a full‑time Assistant Professor on the Clinical Educator track. The position involves delivering high‑quality diagnostic radiology services, teaching trainees, and contributing to research initiatives within a leading academic health system.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret X‑ray, CT, and MRI studies in cardiothoracic imaging across multiple UHealth facilities.
• Teach radiology residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical settings and classroom environments.
• Participate in clinical research, journal clubs, and multidisciplinary conferences.
• Serve on departmental and university committees as needed.
• Maintain a home PACS workstation and provide remote call coverage when required.

Required profile

• Completed fellowship in Cardiothoracic Imaging.
• Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical education and scholarly activity.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a large, multidisciplinary academic team.
