The Department of Cellular & Molecular Pharmacology at UCSF seeks an Assistant Professor to join its tenure‑track faculty. The successful candidate will establish an independent, cutting‑edge research program that integrates computational and experimental approaches to address fundamental mechanistic questions in biology.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead an innovative research program at the molecular, cellular, tissue, and organismal levels.
• Secure external funding and publish high‑impact scientific findings.
• Teach and mentor graduate students and postdoctoral researchers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across basic science and clinical departments.
• Contribute to departmental service, including graduate and postdoctoral training.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline.
